Meet The Doctors
Dr. DeLaMare graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1990. Following graduation, he spent nearly two years practicing in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In June of 1992 Dr. DeLaMare began his own practice in San Dimas, CA. His focus was family health and personal injury. In the fall of 1998 he became the membership chairman of Doctor’s Injury Network, Inc., a referral and educational network for personal and work-related injuries. In 2002 Dr. DeLaMare became the CEO and moved this company into the Continuing Education business for chiropractors, providing CEU’s to doctors of chiropractic in California on a bi-monthly basis. In 2002 Dr. DeLaMare became a QME providing examinations for injured workers as well as providing utilization reviews. He sold his practice in June of 2012 and elected to keep a very small practice traveling to the patients a couple days a week while exploring other interests such as entrepreneurship and investments. These other interests led him to cross paths with The Joint. After learning of the benefits The Joint offered to the public, Dr. DeLaMare elected to become one of their treating doctors.
My family moved to Mission Viejo when I was 5 years old. It was so much fun growing up in this area. I have so many fond memories living here.
All of my schooling was local up through high school. After high school, I attended Saddleback Community College and graduated with a Associate of Arts degree. I was then accepted to California State University Long Beach where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.
I always knew I had a calling to take care of others but didn’t know what exactly I should do. One day my personal Chiropractor recommended I become a Chiropractor. So I applied and was accepted to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001.
I have now been practicing, here in California, for over 20 years and enjoy being able to help others through it.
On a personal note, I enjoy fishing and am a car enthusiast. And those are fun hobbies to have, but what I love and treasure the most is my wife and son! They are truly The Lord’s gift to me! They put a smile on my face and heart and they are what I look forward to each and every day!
As a young baseball player experiencing various sports related injuries, chiropractic would always help with alleviating the aches and pains but would also provide understanding of the “why.” After high school baseball, Dr. Reynolds pursued a career in law enforcement prior to becoming a chiropractor. He received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice at Cal State Fullerton, completed the academy and then working in patrol. Realizing quickly this was not the career for him, he chose to alter his career back to his roots in sports and helping people through chiropractic.
Dr. Reynolds completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2021 at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Immediately, he began working in a fully integrated medical practice, practicing both chiropractic and functional neurology.
Dr. Reynolds has experience working with various spectrum of patients, from sports related injuries to complex chronic health issues.
Dr. Reynolds enjoys watching sports on TV, Golfing, and spending time with his family.
Dr Greg McDonald has over 35 years of practice experience. He is a graduate of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He had his private practice until retiring in 2018. He then traveled full-time for 2 years. After missing the patient interaction and helping his patients regain their health he decided to return to practice. The Joint provided the opportunity for him to do what he loves, adjusting and helping his patients regain and maintain their health. Dr. McDonald is married with 4 grown children. He enjoys hiking, exercise, golf and learning about all aspects of nutrition. He takes great pride in taking care of his patients, educating them and listening to their needs. He continues to learn by attending regular seminars on all aspects of natural health.
During her time at UCLA, Dr. Rie Ito endured a debilitating lower back injury that left her immobilized. Frustrated by ineffective treatments and expensive medications, she turned to chiropractic care—an approach centered on the body's innate ability to heal itself without drugs. Witnessing the transformative results firsthand, she was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine.
"Encountering an exceptional chiropractor during my recovery was life-changing. Their care motivated me to become a chiropractor myself, aiming to repay the kindness I received and provide patient-centered treatment," says Dr. Ito.
Passionate about promoting wellness across all age groups, from infants to seniors, Dr. Ito is dedicated to her community's health. Beyond her practice, she finds joy in leading Zumba classes, hiking, participating in sprint triathlons, exploring national parks, and indulging her love of aviation as a private pilot.
Dr. Doug attended UC Irvine and graduated with a B.S. in the Biological Sciences, then went onto US Naval Officer Candidate School, Main Propulsion, and Surface Warfare Officer School Newport, Rhode Island. After serving in the U.S. NAVY, LTJG MURRAY went onto attend Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where he received a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. He used his GI Bill earned by service in military as well as working part time to graduate without student debt for all his college education.
After graduation, Dr. Murray worked three decades as a family Chiropractor dedicated to wellness and prevention of injury. His goal is to reduce patients pain and make them healthier or feel more energy and more youthful. Making patients feel younger or their age if already young, more energy/happier, and no or less pain is his life’s passion.
Working in the field of Chiropractic and Wellness which is his passion is making it so that Dr. Murray will never retire, “I’ll work until I check out”. His other passion is gladiator like training and eating as if the best Medicine is superfoods and nutritional supplements.
