Meet The Doctors
Dr. Michael Solis brings over thirty two years experience of treating Chiropractic patients to The Joint. He is a 1990 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West.
Dr. Solis got into Chiropractic because he loves helping people in need and enjoys seeing patients get great results
Dr. Solis is also fluent in Spanish. When he is not working at The Joint, Dr. Solis’ hobbies include: boating, working out, going on walks, watching sports, as well as visiting new places to name a few.
He also owns a black labrador dog named “Professor.”
Dr. Justin Keffer, D.C. joined The Joint Chiropractic’s network of doctors in 2020. He is currently working out of San Diego, CA and is very excited to serve his local community.
Dr. Keffer knew early on that he had an interest in healthcare as a profession. It was his chiropractor back in Ohio that set him on his path to Life Chiropractic College West, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Through Dr. Keffer's professional journey, he has served all ages including infants through geriatrics for the management of a wide array of issues including headaches, neck pain, upper back pain, sciatica and of course maintenance or wellness care. He has been able to help others achieve their health goals through an optimal functioning nervous system and a well-adjusted spine, balancing the brain-body connection.
Dr. Keffer loves getting to know his patients, and making connections with his local community.
When Dr. Keffer is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in San Diego, CA, he can be found wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking, eating tacos, watching football, or reading.
Dr. Harry Heeder joined The Joint Chiropractic’s network of doctors in 2020. He attended Life University College of Chiropractic where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Heeder is excited to be the local chiropractor in San Diego, CA and serve the community.
Dr. Heeder realized that chiropractic care was his calling, after getting advice from his own doctor.
“My chiropractor explained that chiropractic was not about bones but the nervous system. He explained that the intelligence, the software program that we all have inside to run our bodies travels over the nerves. Chiropractors call this a person’s innate intelligence. Innate meaning inborn. He explained innate intelligence was a piece or a portion (like a cup of ocean water is a portion of the ocean) of Universal Intelligence; that being what some people call God, the creator, the source...pick a name. Universal Intelligence is the name we use for the organizing intelligence that made and sustains the universe – everything – in existence. He explained that since the spine protects the nerves, a healthy spine would allow the nerves to carry the innate intelligence everywhere in the body and keep it healthy. Many years before this, I built a telescope – Wicked Yellow - and was always fascinated to look into the sky in awe of what and how and why everything was. When I found out that as a chiropractor I would be working with a piece of that intelligence in every person – the same intelligence I was looking for in my telescope all those years, I was hooked!”
Dr. Heeder says the best thing about working in the chiropractic field is having the opportunity to shift peoples’ perspective on health and watch them grow and shine.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Heeder has learned to serve a range of patients all with varied symptoms and ailments. Including, migraines, upper back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, arthritis, sciatica and more.
When Dr. Heeder isn’t working at The Joint Chiropractic in San Diego, CA, he loves music, kayaking, self-education and spending time with his wife, Nicole.
